After retrieving the magical Tarlaeth and ensuring those who seek to use it remain in exile, the fierce warrior Shalmar returns to a celebration of victory. But her celebration is short-lived. Shalmar can feel another evil approaching, one darker and more powerful than she’s ever seen before. When a lone rider visits her in her dreams, haunting her with questions from her murky past, Shalmar soon finds herself on a quest to recover something that was lost in her childhood.
