Josh got MS at the age of 28 and at that moment he was almost 400 lbs married, straight, and was in a dark place where he tried to commit suicide multiple times. But then he turned his life around and lost 200lbs, got a divorce, came out of the closet, and began stand-up comedy. This brought the light back into his life, gave him a platform to share his story and spread awareness about MS.

Schizoetry by definition means: a literary work fusing poetry with the mind of a schizophrenic. This is a genre that I created. All my work revolves around the life and times of a paranoid schizophrenic. My work is very educational and inspiring to those in the system of mental health as well as those outside of the system. It gives insight as to how we think, feel, perceive, and process information.
