Story
As Dr. King prepared for the Birmingham campaign in early 1963, he drafted the final sermons for Strength to Love, a volume of his best-known homilies. King had begun working on the sermons during a fortnight in jail in July 1962. Having been arrested for holding a prayer vigil outside Albany City Hall, King and Ralph Abernathy shared a jail cell for 15 days that was, according to King, ''dirty, filthy, and ill-equipped'' and "the worse I have ever seen." While behind bars, he spent uninterrupted time preparing the drafts for classic sermons....

Story
New Testament scholar N. T. Wright reveals how we have been misreading the Gospels for centuries, powerfully restoring the lost central story of the scripture: that the coronation of God through the acts of Jesus was the climax of human history. Wright fills the gaps that centuries of misdirection have opened up in our collective spiritual story, tracing a narrative from Eden to Jesus to today.

Solomon, son of David, was an incredibly wealthy and wise king, who reigned over Israel from 970 to 931 BC. He is credited as the builder of the First Temple in Jerusalem and is acknowledged as a prophet in both the Talmud and Quran. Solomon's wisdom was a gift from God. After performing a sacrifice unto God, Yahweh later appeared to him in a dream and asked Solomon what he wanted from him.

Story
As Christians, we often ask what the gospel is, when we should be asking why it is. Matthew W. Bates has previously demonstrated that the “good news” of the gospel is that Jesus is King. But in his latest book, he explores God’s intentions: why has God issued this royal proclamation? And what role can it play in our everyday lives? As Bates observes, we find the answer in a simple but challenging realization: “I am a horrible king of my own life."

Story
The God I know is gentle and my friend, and yet he is also fierce and formidable, as his words carry power to raise the dead. He sees his masterpiece and says it’s good, but as he’s given us the ability to interact with him, with our words, I sense the humility and the honour to co-labour with God himself. Declarations that carry the thunder of Heaven. When it comes to prayer, many believers don’t know where to begin. But what if your prayers were transformed from a one-sided conversation into a dynamic, supernatural encounter with the King of Heaven?

Story
Written by a global team of leading Majority World scholars led by Michael S. Horton and Elizabeth W. Mburu, Prophet, Priest, and King approaches, explores, and articulates the topic of Christology and the Gospel, not only as central and essential tenets of the Christian faith but crucially as the global catholic church. Though there are many global treatments of Christology that focus on contextual expression, and many more written from a Western perspective, Prophet, Priest, and King highlights a unified and singular testimony drawn from a variety of voices from the worldwide church.

Story
Walk in the footsteps of a king! King David is regarded as one of the Bible’s greatest heroes for one reason: he was a sold-out worshipper. Through all of his success, failures, and pain, David worshipped God with his whole heart. The first 30 Psalms provide a record of his prayers to God - a window into his prayers as he wrestled through every circumstance across the full spectrum of human emotion. David’s example is an important model for modern-day Christians, and his words in the Psalms provide powerful language we can use in our own journey.

The Book of Mark is the second book of the New Testament and narrates the ministry of Jesus from his baptism to his death and resurrection. This account portrays Jesus as hiding his messianic identity more than in the other three Gospels and contains much hidden knowledge for those with spiritual insight. It focuses particularly on the last week of his life and shows the suffering of Jesus in greater detail. It is the shortest of the four Gospels.

Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Story
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

There is no bigger public health story now than the collapse in youth mental health. The numbers are terrifying and dominate our headlines. There has been much debate over how we got here, and what to do next, and bestselling author and social psychologist Jonathan Haidt is at the white-hot center of that discourse. Haidt has spent his career speaking wisdom and truth into the most difficult landscapes—communities polarized by politics and religion, campuses battling culture wars, and now the perfect storm contributing to a public health emergency for Gen Z.
