Story
Here, in heart-stopping human detail, are 21 personal accounts told by the men themselves. They are the stories of men who lived in hell and lived to tell of it. The battles of Gavutu-Tanambogo, Tulagi, Tenaru, Matanikau, and Guadalcanal are all covered through these accounts, which take the listener right to the epicenter of the Pacific conflict.

Story
The USS Seawolf was one of the greatest submarine raiders of all time. Having narrowly avoided the attack on Pearl Harbor the Seawolf set out for the seas of the Pacific to wreak havoc on Japanese shipping. Joseph Melvin Eckberg was on the Seawolf from her maiden voyage and remained with her until January 1943. As chief radioman he was instrumental in assisting Captain Frederick Warder to find and destroy enemy targets. From the claustrophobia of being trapped under water and the overwhelming fear of depth charges to the joys of aiding the war-effort and the camaraderie on the ship.

Story
Hollywood glamour meets handsome goofball. Jack Benny's irrepressible bandleader and his winsome wife star in this classic sitcom - raising their two daughters, and raising their voices…and, not just to sing. With a wise-guy sensibility that sounds positively contemporary, the chemistry between Phil Harris and Elliott Lewis (as Frankie Remley) is pitch-perfect. They click in a comic rhythm reminiscent of Jackie Gleason and Art Carney. Add Walter Tetley to the mix (as smart-alecky grocery boy Julius Abbruzio), and the results are glorious.

Story
Church History, Volume Two: Audio Lectures features and offers a unique contextual view of how the Christian church spread and developed from Reformation times to the present. It did so not in a vacuum, but in a setting of times, cultures, and events that both influenced and were influenced by the church. These lectures help explore the integral link between the history of the world and that of the church.

Story
The Gunmen of the American Wild West Collection brings to life the history of the frontier west of the Mississippi in the latter parts of the 19th century. The gunmen ranged from lawmen to cowboys, ranchers, and outlaws. Most of the outlaws in the Old West preyed on banks, trains, and stagecoaches. Although spread thin, the law was present, usually on the level of deputy US marshal, county sheriff, and the town marshal or constable.

Story
This classic book is the whole unruly story of dance music in one volume. It recreates the dance floors that made history, conjuring their atmosphere with loving detail and bringing you the voices of the DJs and clubbers at their heart—from grime, garage, house, hip hop and disco, to techno, soul, reggae, rock 'n' roll and EDM. Whether musical outlaw, obsessive crate-digger or overpaid superstar, the DJ has been at the spinning centre of nightlife for a century, making parties wilder, pushing clubbers harder and driving music into completely new shapes and styles.

The need for power ministry is as strong today as it was when Jesus and the apostles walked the earth. The need for demonstrations of Gods powerful love, exhibited through His church, will demolish strongholds of unbelief and relativism, as well as tear down cultural barriers that may bring confusion when only the words of the good news are shared, but its power is neglected. When Jesus and the apostles proclaimed the good news of salvation to people, works of power accompanied them. Today, the entire church needs mentored in how to bring Gods word to the world in power. Our country is full of famous quotes by the trailblazers that have made this country great. As a result, we all live by quotes in one form or another from love to heartaches to sorrow and pain. It may be good advice from your mother, a dear friend, or someone famous, but in the end it's all the same - a quote about how to live your life. Although you may find yourself or your situation in a number of these quotes, they are not intended to be about any one person, but about love in general.

Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Story
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

“You like it darker? Fine, so do I,” writes Stephen King in the afterword to this magnificent new collection of twelve stories that delve into the darker part of life—both metaphorical and literal. King has, for half a century, been a master of the form, and these stories, about fate, mortality, luck, and the folds in reality where anything can happen, are as rich and riveting as his novels, both weighty in theme and a huge pleasure to digest.
