Sunni History

Different branches of the same religion are the exception more than the rule, and they have had a profound impact upon history. Beginning in 2010, much of the Middle East, including Egypt, was swept up by a series of revolutions later referred to as the Arab Spring. The wave of riots and demonstrations — some violent, some not, but all impactful and sizeable — began in Tunisia.
