Not as good as "ME", but very good!
This was not as entertaining as the auto-biography, but still very good. Interesting to hear about the tour, life on the road, his review of his career, etc. Sir Elton has stood the test of time & his music has & will live on forever! At times, the book seemed a bit "braggy" about the shows, the size of the crowd, just everything surrounding the story. Then, it was reeled back in with his humble & profound adoration of his fans & what they have given him over the decades. Glad I listened to this career recap. Farewell, Sir Elton and GOD BLESS your remaining years with your family.

A great walk down the road.
As a blind man, I am unable to appreciate an elaborate concert experience, but after listening to this book, I do now understand that some concerts are not just music for the ears, but eye catching as well. Elton shows that he really is a great stage performer, and what it takes to create a great show for all his fans.

Could have been …
Could have been much better if Elton would have narrated the entire thing. It was a bit blah.
Elton’s book titled “ME” on the other hand is excellent!!

What a joyful and touching listen
I love the audiobook, so well done and informative. He talks about so many experiences he had when touring his last tour and prior tours. Great information on such a great entertainer! It was like being on a joyride, but he had his ups and downs. Great experience to learn about how his shows were put together! Awesome listen!

A fun way to organize the material
using the final farewell tour as a framing device, this gives Elton the ability to reminisce about past concerts and moments in his life as he was in some of those cities throughout his career. The short little book gives a lot of insight to him as a person, and highlights a number of the humanitarian efforts that he's been part of. He's one of the few that really deserves the bigger than life legacy that he's created!

A must listen for Elton fans
This was a pleasant listen thanks to Richard Armitage's captivating voice, and if you're a fan of Elton John you'll love the BTS insights into his career. But I found the way the book is written -- weaving back and forth between the early days and the farewell tour -- a bit difficult to follow. I most appreciated the glimpses into Elton's personal life -- his relationship with his husband and desire to be a father -- and wish there had been more of that.

Fascinating Look at Elton John's History
This book is fantastic. Elton shares all the stories about the hows and whys of every performance in each of the venues. I never heard many of these stories before.
