Great book, voice casting needs some work

I read the books a while ago (love them) and decided to listen to the dramatized version for my second read through. I think Violet’s voice is so spot on, however some of the other characters sounded very strange to me. Mira sounds like some sort of weird AI generated middle-age Karen that I literally couldn’t stand listening to. Also when reading the books I imagined Xaden as a deep, somewhat intimidating but soft spoken voice. The Xaden voice actor sounds like the annoying guy at parties that can’t shut up fast enough.

Witty and intense

By far my favorite book! I loved the personalities of the characters and their connection. Audio was well blended and didn't feel misplaced. I will definitely be listening to the rest!

amazing graphic audio!

I didn't even know graphic audio was a thing. played the sample and I was immediately hooked. the sound effects really keep you engaged! much better.

Is the next one out yet? I need it now!

LOVING this story and the characters so much that I can't put it down. SO grateful for some great adventure to distract from real life. A little risqué in the lead relationship so careful whose ears hear.

I can't wait for book two release with this version. May can't come fast enough.

This was amazing!
let me make this clear I downloaded the original audio book at first, that didn't have a full cast. I tried to get into it, but the book had so much detail and so much going on the simply narration didn't do the book justice. So I actually returned that version.
weeks pass and I received an email about this version. I listened to the sample and I was hooked. I couldn't download this book fast enough! I finished part one in one day! and started the part two last night, just now finishing this.
This audio book had me so submersed! I actual felt like the main character! I adore this book! I had moments of laughter, crying, moments I was frantically cleaning while listening to suspense.
Every single voice actor choosen was PERFECT, they did an amazing job!
I wish that this version was available for book two!
Every audio book should be narrated this way, and honestly you can just tell the amount of hard work that went into the creation of this version. They could charge a lot more, and it would be worth it!

Love that each character has their own voice. It is a two part book and did not realize this so be careful. Easy listening hard to put down.

Loved it for the most part but…

Love the full cast versions but why does Liam sound like somebody’s grandpa rather than a 20 year old?

I wish I could listen to this version and the story for the first time all over again.

The voices and acting were perfect, especially Xadens. 👌 The story was interesting and unique. I was bummed when it was over and will probably listen to it all over again. I just wish Iron Flame had this same dramatized version instead of the plain one because there is no way I'm paying money for that nonsense. 😒
