This was 🔥
This story started out slow but took off like a Rocket 🚀. It’s one POV which is the FMC.I kind of wish I could gotten KingFisher POV. The narrators did an amazing job of bringing this book to life. The world building and character development were easy to follow along. This was a great slow burn with lots of tension that built up to some great spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️.

Exciting and sexy
The story felt exiting intriguing and fast paced. Slow burn romance that doesn’t feel like an afterthought and continues the plot well. Action, mystery and side characters that are charming and develop.

Enthralling; great narration, plot, and romance
Binged this audiobook in 2 days it was SO GOOD!! It is the perfect enemies to lovers in a way I've never seen before, it's unpredictable and exciting and the characters are so well developed (and voice acted)! This is the first book I've read in a while where I've been equally invested in the characters and the plot and world they're in, the world is well built but not overdone and too confusing. On top of the amazing romance and story, the narration is top tier, the best I've heard, the duet narration is spot on and makes the audiobook feel so much more real. (Ren's accent killed me it was my fav part of the whole book). 10/10 RECCOMEND!
