Their relationship with one another which carried over to their guests A tremendous amount of comfortability

There was nothing that I disliked—only that it is over…can’t wait until the next round of interviews

Loved Every Minute!

When your theme song is from Public Enemy, you hooked me in. Thank you for interviewing the unusual usual suspects. Thank you, Malcom and Kenya, for giving me hope where each day headlines bring me down. Thank you, Dr. Dre for reminding me and teaching me that the best days are head of me. Keep these interviews coming because my heart and mind need them.

Interesting and loved the podcast format

I liked the music aspect and all the guests including Malcolm Gladwell and Kenya Barris. There were times during interviews the guests were interrupted or the hosts assumptions were inserted before the guests could share their answers or input. Overall I’d listen to this again and would recommend it to others.

Finding self

I started to listening in the beginning of my morning workout, and could not stop listening, I avoid talking to people so I can continue listening, Kenya and Malcolm were extremely entertaining I truly enjoyed how they both include themselves into the questions they would ask, I can’t wait to share this with my daughter’s and friends.

Inspired interviews

I loved listening to Malcolm Gladwell and Kenya Barris interview these people who are well known in their areas, but some of whom I knew little about. I gave 4 stars on performance because at times, I struggled to understand what Barris said and had to slow down and repeat the audio.

Mostly great, also emBarris-ing

Most of these discussions are great. But Kenya Barris is embarassing in his sexist questions to Ava Duvernay about her dating life and why his is so different, and what is and is not acceptable. Guy wants to be so woke, but this is painful, and she’s clearly uncomfortable too. Also, self-described massive Dre fan, yet he doesn’t know within 3 years when “Straight Outta Compton” came out. He says ‘85 and he was 11 or 12, when it was early ‘89, and he must have been 14. In terms of a seminal album, that age difference is light years in a kid’s life. Poser.

Gladwell, however, is the Man.
