Great Book!

I LOVE this book! Ann M Martin sure does have a way with words. I liked how the story went and it was a calming thing to listen to while I was drawing. Since quarantine, I have been listening to a lot of audible and It has been one thing that kept me sane. I suggest you start with the first book and progress through the series, don't read this one first!

I love secret passages.

This is one that I loved as a kid and enjoyed again.

It's funny and so true to how teenagers react to ghost stories. I like a good ghost mystery and I love secret passages.

I also really like the narrator's voice for Dawn. My favorite so far.

Good Book!

This is a great book! I'd definitely recommend reading it! I'd purchased it with a credit on 10-19-23. I'd purchased it because it was almost Halloween and the title was called "The Ghost In Dawn's House".

Love this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have always been looking for a secret passage in my house! Okay I admit that my sister has a small door behind her bed, but it isn’t necessarily a passage, it’s just a door. It leads to a small room under the stairs where my family keeps our holiday decorations in.

I have been on a quest to revisit my childhood reading favorites. When I was a child, I loved the Babysitters Club books. I devoured them. I read those, along with the Super Specials, Mysteries, Little Sister books, etc. In fact, I still have all of them to this day in paperback. They were such a big part of my love of reading, I could not part with them. So now that they have come out on Audiobook, I had to check them out. As it turns out, I am not too old to enjoy The Baby-sitters Club. It kind of feels like going home again.

The Ghost at Dawn's House is book 9 in the Baby-sitters Club series. In this book, Dawn has been hearing noises behind her walls. She ends up finding a secret passage that leads from the barn to a secret door in her bedroom. This book was pretty blah. Obviously, it turns out that a person has been causing the noises and such, however, there are a few things that are unexplained and they are just left so we don't get closure.

This book is a fairly quick listen and is only 3 hours and 10 minutes. The narrator for this book talked very slowly. I had to speed it up significantly just to listen at what I consider to be a normal speed.

My love for these books and the nostalgia is still strong but definitely heading toward the downward slope. I will take a break to read another book or two and then come back to this series for book 10.

Sounds like AI

The story is great and we love this series but the narration sounds computer generated.
