Uplifting!
*spoilers ahead!*
I read this as part of a book club. I was a little hesitant because dog books always make me cry. I have a stressful job, so I try to avoid reading book that may cause me more stress. I may have still cried reading this, but it was worth it for the happy ending! I love how the author incorporates this rescue story with his own past and how his relationships with his wife and pup have helped him face his demons.

Gobi is captivating!
So many dog stories are poorly written. I get discouraged not finding good books. THIS book is well written. The story is interesting and at times riveting. I held my breath in a couple places! I'm amazed at rescue dogs. They love with all their might and are grateful. Gobi is a wonderful little dog. I feel blessed to have met her.
