Note: Beyond the Badge: Rez is the fourth book in the Blue Avengers MC series. It’s HIGHLY recommended to listen to this six-book action/adventure series in order, due to the continuing story arcs (subplots). However, each book focuses on a different couple, who gets their HEA. This series has no cheating or relationship cliffhangers.

This series is so good!

This series is building and is not only fantastic couples, but a slow burning suspense that is rising! I am loving it! Rez is not your typical cop. Tattooed down to his hands, he isn't what anyone would expect. Perfect for undercover work, and he does it well. So well, he is in the midst of hopefully taking down the demons. Sitting at the club, he is taken with Sapphire. Not only beautiful, this woman is smart, knows what she wants and isn't ashamed of her path. Her confidence pours out of her. These two are well matched, but things are never that easy. See, you have to be on the same page for relationships to work, and they do not see eye to eye on this. But what they do agree on is getting the drugs off the streets. Can they do this together without Rez's mouth spouting off or Sapphire being caught with him outside of the club? St James has a way of writing that pulls my interest in from the very start, has intelligent characters and keeps the story moving with never a dull moment. Rez is a fantastic character. I love his heart and his flaws. He is genuine alpha male, packed with all the over protectiveness he can muster. Sapphire is strong, stubborn and purposeful when it comes to her life. She knows where she wants to go. Add in all the other people we have met along the way, both those we love and those we love to hate and the magic continues. It's true to life, has all the feels and had me from start to finish.

Ava Lucas is one of my favorites and as Sapphire, the confidence and attitude says it all. Lucas gives her that edge and makes her true to form. Noah B Perez is Rez, Strong, over the top protective and a bit careless when he speaks, Perez finds the essence of Rez and creates the personality I expect him to have. These two are perfectly cast and give an incredible performance.

Wow Jeanne St. James proves what an amazing writer she is with this story , I was completely into it. This story about Rez and Sapphire and the Blue Avengers MC. was intense, emotional, funny, romantic and suspenseful. I wish I could explain better about this book because it is one you don't want to miss out on, Its about police and criminals motorcycle clubs and tasks force undercover officers and exotic dancers and its intense and really good. I loved the story loved the performance of the narrators Ava Lucas and Noah B Perez they were amazing .

I was on pins & needles thru a good portion of this.
I'm also in awe of how the story flowed so seamlessly, being that it was all of the following:
Funny, tense, heartbreaking, scary, sad beyond belief, and add in breathtaking, beautiful love.
Plus, the sex scenes were hot! 🔥🔥🔥
