Publisher's summary

Alex Sheppard returns to the real world only to realize that it's game over for him. At the age of sixteen, he's destroyed the carefully laid plans of the most powerful people in the world, incurring their wrath. Now they're thirsting for his blood, and they know where to find him.

The criminal Triad, the two-faced Cartel, the hypocritical preventers were child's play, nothing more. But he has to operate outside the law now his sworn enemies rule the planet.

And Alex has a score to settle—they killed his friends, and he's hungry for revenge. The hour of reckoning is drawing near, and the retribution of the Sleepers is unfolding.

4.5 star litrpg

So that’s the rating I give in general. Basically compared to most litrpgs. I Will say this series is one of my favorites amongst the specific types of litrpg story formats. You know that being that it involves connecting to a vr game and the story has both in game, IRL both. Which generally aren’t my favorites even when I coïncider it well done. That being said I would really like to give the author a nod for the way this story has all come together. By story I’m including all, what 9 tenth book. I forget. Let’s say series. The way this whole story comes together. Well it surprised me how much I really enjoyed this book as much as the others. And a little more only cause it just adds to everything there. The surprise is subtle but strong. Trying not to spoil a single thing but also want to curb any expectations. Obviously I’m endorsing the book but to what degree. Well I wouldn’t pick it up before something else I know I wanted to get. Exception I grabbed while on sale win win. Last thing it does spend a good amount of time irl in first half and it’s good but still. Not what I love about litrpg. Anyways the end half makes it worth giving a chance.
K hope that helps you decide. ;)

Always fun

This entry is really different with a lot of real-world stuff, but sets up a lot and the second half gives us the Scyth adventures you know you love!

Great story

This message is for the offer. I really enjoyed this book. And I can’t wait for more book to see what happens next.
But if I had to go through that citizenship test That Alex went through I would lose my cool and get pissed off. I don’t do good with things like that and but I hope Alex Will be able to escape to space in the next book

The Pain

I genuinely hate when an author decoders or lowers the levels of the main character and yet. the author made a compelling story that showed the main character go through their journey once more and compelling. There were parts of the story that you almost want to give up, keeping the story going and building up to the crescendo. Stay with the story and you will be rewarded.

Another fantastic entry

If you've made it this far in the series, then you know the gem you've discovered in Disgardium. The character build up and development, the world building and relation to Dan Sugralinov's other series Restart, the likability of Alex, and the great characterization of his enemies.
It's such a fun series.
If you're just coming upon this book series, and you like MMO's, LitRpgs, the first person style of writing, and an author who knows how to write a self consistent world over a dozen+ novels, then do your self a favor: Spend a credit on the group of the first 4 books.

Sweet revenge!

Couldn’t stop listening character development continues to be amazing throughout the series. I wouldn’t be disappointed if the story went on forever.

are you a masochist? then have a listen.

it's not often times that I give any book a one-star review across the board, but in this case it's a well-deserved one star. throughout the book series there has been one hurdle after another The main character would have to overcome. but for some reason the author decided in this one that they would just sh** on The main character as much as possible, I also have not stop listening to a book series for any other reason other than the series ending, u till this book. good job a** hat, the book is terrible and I hope you get persistent hemroids that never heal.

I don't understand how this book has high ratings

main character is a straight up moron, and constantly makes horrible Decisions. and the whole world constantly stacked up against him is just tiresome. oh no there goes Shepard always losing and at the very end he pulls through but to keep you hanging there's another twist and everyone's dead lmao
