Publisher's summary

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself.

That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth.

Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet.

War has raged ever since.

None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous. He mostly kept to himself. He was the weird guy who owned a cabin and who occasionally came into town for a drink and light conversation. After System Integration, that didn’t change much—he only got stronger.

After years of fighting monsters and Invaders alone, he’s become quite adept at surviving. Who needs others to get in the way or worry about?

Until one day, Derek goes against his better judgement. He decides to lend some help on a mission that doesn’t seem too hard.... He should have stuck to being alone....

Don’t miss the start of this new LitRPG series starting on Earth a few years post System Integration. But the adventure doesn’t stop there. This overpowered protagonist will quickly find himself on a new world, with a new System, providing a unique combination of the isekai, LitRPG apocalypse, and slice-of-life genres. He may even make a few friends along the way.

Changing Systems

Great take on the System Apocalypse genre with the MC being pulled from a world that has recently been introduced to the system and tossed into a world that has had a different system for a long time. I'm really looking forward to book 2

Narration by Adam Verner was awesome as always.

Not bad ready for book 2!

After reading some reviews I was hesitant but decided to give this story a try. it is not bad! I enjoy the Main character a lot. he is different and has an original orgin story of sorts. i look forward to his journey. The only person I didn't like was the 13 year old boy that the main character cant let go of for some reason. he is annoying and it really makes no sense why the MC would care about him. The other characters make a lot more sense. I enjoy them all. I would like to see the MC with people his own age more. When he is with the adults conversations flow better - things make sense and get to a point. The best parts of the story are when the MC is away from the boy or at least not with him solo. The MC and his journey are more interesting than him making this kid strong. I really hope the story lessens the interactions with the boy. The MC and the bunny 🐰 are a better match than the kid.

The world building was not bad, though if you are not familiar with lit rpgs you may be a little confused, but it doesn't take much to catch on.

The narrator was awesome. wouldn't change a thing!

Overall despite 1 annoying characters I still look forward to the next story. I hope the MC gets some more friends his own age the travel with him!

Awesome book! Don’t listen to negative reviews.

This book is great. MC is not a push over. MC doesn’t make stupid mistakes. He’s OP, but it doesn’t take away from the story. He still grows and the secondary characters aren’t as bad as people make them out to be.

small error in chapter 29

MC leveled to 30, but soon after, he checked his status, and it says he is level 18. Regarless of that, this book is amazing.

I am sure our MC will progress beyond murder hobo. He just needs some quality time with honest people.

Basic Litrpg

If you like classic litrpg, an overpowered main character, if you like frequent progression and lots and lots of stats, then this the book for you. I personally love all of the above. It’s not high class sci-fi, but it’s my guilty pleasure litrpg. I read the first three books as soon as I could. Give it a try
