A must own for sufferers of panic attacks/disorder

This book has the power to change your life. I suffered from panic attacks for years... tried medications, cognitive therapy, meditation, etc... nothing has brought me as close to a full recovery as this book. I almost feel like my old self... just wiser and better prepared to handle future episodes. This is also a must listen for parents/spouses/companions,/etc that often don't comprehend the full effects of panic attacks. This isnt the mental disorder you may think it is. It is very much real and very much physical in nature, though can be mental or physical in origin.

This book saved my life back in 1980

I had panic attacks so bad I thought I was going to die and at one point I just wanted to die to get rid of the feelings. At the time I couldn’t even concentrate on reading a book so I was happy to have found these books that were on old fashioned taped read by her in Dr. Weekes own voice and now I see they’re free on Audible with your premium account. She is a lifesaver.

Really helps!

This book helps a great deal as a supplement to CBT and reading lots of other anxiety books. I find it especially helpful when I'm in a place where I'm unable to read, but can only listen to books on tape. Dr. Weeks helps to calmly talk me off the ledge if I think I'm going to have a panic attack.

Absolutely amazing. Informative, straight forward.

I have been suffering from chronic anxiety/panic and stress for almost 2 years now. I've always tried to solve every little symptom and make sense of things because I've always been a logical person but never succeeded because I wasn't too knowledgeable about the illness. She explains everything so great and it is so helpful, a guideline to follow is order to reach recovery. Thank you for this book. so worth the read.
