About this listen

Special Agent Diana Sheen runs a secret agency...locked squarely in the crosshairs of a magical conspiracy far greater than she'd imagined.

The bad guys are seeking artifacts to increase their power, and it feels like they're leading up to something big.

Can she stop them in time?

The attacks are getting personal. Other bureaus have taken heavy losses, and only her team's magical abilities have kept them from the same fate.

That includes a troll uncovering magical do-gooders or an acerbic Drow learning to use her magic.

Everything is getting better, including their gear thanks to Kayleigh. But is better good enough? No way to tell, except by putting boot to tail.

Magic or mundane, you hurt people in their town, and FAM is gonna bring you down. It's all in a day's work at the newest bureau of the Federal Agents of Magic.

The fight continues

Diana and her team are still fighting Remembrance who has ramped up their assault. Remembrance wiped out the Buffalo offices and wounded agents at the Hartford and DC locations. The Pittsburgh team is still playing catch up with Remembrance. In each fight Remembrance deploys stall tactics and always has more wizards and witches than Pittsburgh.
The format of the book is the same as the previous. There is usually a small fight, a big confrontation and a training event with the new people. Like the other books this is fast paced, lots of action and lots of snark.
Diana did hire two more agents, a bomb specialist and an undercover agent. But they are still don’t have enough. The new people seem to fit in well with the others. The team members get nifty call sign names.
Diana is doing more inner monologue that will have you laughing. Rath and Max are still training and are really good together. They have a little side adventure. Rath has the team doing movie quotes.
