Publisher's summary

Lindsay Subbloom's marriage didn't make it past the honeymoon. Her prince had a secret that she never saw coming. Now an internet obsession is keeping her connected to a brokenhearted past.

Her sister knows that if Lindsay doesn’t let go of her horrible new habit, she'll have no future. Enter her brilliant idea - the gift of going offline. She hopes pushing Lindsay back into the real world will open the door for a second chance at love.

When Seth O'Shea sets his sights on the beautiful third-grade teacher, there';s an instant connection. Insta-smitten quickly turns to insta-smut. And when insta-love starts settling in, it looks like Lindsay may just get the fairy tale she's always dreamed of in time for Christmas. But what happens when she reconnects? Will she finally get her happily ever after? Or will old habits resurface and make her new man bounce before it begins?

Happy Holiday

This is my first book from this author. Won't be my last. I loved the writing and it was an adorable story about a woman who disconnects from social media and finds a love she didn't know and things blossom. Loved the narration as always. Tor and Charley do a great job bringing the story to life. This story opens your eyes to challenge yourself once in awhile to be away from the social media. You never know what you may find. Great story indeed! xo

Loved it

This story had me completely hooked. It sets the mood for the holidays with just enough Passion and heat.
Seth is my man! My type of man. He knows what he wants and he gets it.
This is a new author to me and I wasn’t disappointed. I highly recommend this book

The duo of narrators did an excellent job with this story. Their voices played perfectly with the emotions of the book. Flawless work!!!

Cute and Fun

I really enjoyed listening to this fun listen. I found the concept of disconnecting from technology as a wonderful idea. I have tried going without my cellphone and laptop, and thought I was missing a part of me. Both narrators did an outstanding performance with their banter and various voices. This book is a refreshing listen of a second chance at romance. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. This book is a standalone listen and is written by a very talented author. I will continue to listen to more books by the author and narrators.

Happy Holidays!

Ryan Ringbloom has a holiday hit with this story, and I think he is spot on with the message! In this world of technology, the worst feeling is being disconnected. With no phone or computer, Lindsey, who we met in The Two Night, One Night Stand, enters the holiday depressed after obsessing over social media. Now being free, her life takes a new turn. Meeting Seth, the father of one of her previous students changes her life. But once reconnected to the digital age, will she be able to put aside her obsession? A picture is worth a thousand words, the question is which words will she hear when she starts to surf? There is so much truth to this fun story, and it's impossible not to fall in love with this cast. Ringbloom writes so it is easy to connect and relate to the feelings of the characters and puts you right in the holiday spirit.

Bringing this to life, Tor Thom and Charley Ongel give the story a fun and flirty feel. I love Tor Thom's ability to perform Ethan's young voice with credibility and then switch to an adult male with ease. Charley Ongel provides the duet narration of Lindsey with the right amount of angst. I loved her performance of Lindsey's sister, giving that matter-of-fact advice with confidence! This is a fun listen.

So sweet and fun!

Well, this was ridiculously sweet and adorable. I fell head over heels for the sweet quirkiness of Lindsay. And Seth? Well, Seth with his 10 year old son and his own business? He's just the right kind of package for me.

And for Lindsay. He's sweet and kind and flirty and fun and he has a dog and a kid and his own business.
What's not to love?

The answer is nothing. He's the greatest guy. The kind of guy you want to bring home to your parents. The kind of guy you want to spend forever with.

Get Disconnected and see what it's like to really date someone. It'll be fun. And you might even be able to find your forever.

**I listened to the audio of this and I am totally smitten with Charley Ongel and Tor Thom. I'm pretty sure they can send me anything and I'll listen to it.

A Disconnected Christmas has made me contemplate a disconnection of my own

One of the most amazing stories I have experienced in years. The perfect combination of humor and romance. Ryan Ringbloom has really made me think about the influence social media has played in my life and Tor Thom has brought this story to life for me. Bravo, the perfect author/narrator team.

A Sweet and Modern Love Story

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
This short novella is a sweet love story in a contemporary world of mass communication and electronic devices. Forced to "live" a few weeks without internet access, the protagonist rediscovers what real love is and abandons her obsessive stalking behavior. If you are an internet user, you can definitely sympathize with her predicament if not with her obsession. The characters are likable and make for a good light read. Pleasant all around.

Loved this cute story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. It was well worth the read/listen and especially as an introduction to Ryan Ringbloom. I never realized how being disconnected could open a person's eyes to what is going on around them. We do get so involved in our electronics that we miss what is right in front of our noses. Taking a break could be hard but well worth it, from the story. Loved the characters and the narrators are awesome. The more I listen to them, the more I want to hear more of them.
