About this listen

Jonathon Turner is going to be the death of me. Maybe not the death of me...but my panties for sure! They seem to disintegrate the moment he touches me. Looks at me. Smiles at me. Talks to me. It's more than physical. He's breaking through an impenetrable wall.

There's a problem, though - he's younger than me. Six. Years. Younger. Let's not forget he's also one of my brother's best friends.

Oh, the other problem I forgot to mention...I never wanted to fall in love again. But you know what they say...never say never.

Another great book destroyed by subpar narration

The story was interesting, but the narrators were not the best. I cringed throughout the narration of the book. Both narrators tried to imitate a southern accent, but made the characters sound like clueless hillbillies. Sigh!

Amazing story. I laughed and cried.

I loved the whole story. but... I was extremely disappointed in the narrators. I hate that. I have ateuggled with the narrators in this whole series so far. I hope that gets better.

a little different

Instead of the normal love stories this one is a bit different. Shes a bit older than him and how they become a family is not the norm but I'm glad they changed it to something that happens in the real world.
The narrators were better than the second book but I liked the male narrator from the 3rd.

Mixed feelings

And this one was good but I still have mixed feelings. I especially had mixed feelings about the heroine. I loved her at times and wanted to strangle her and others. Jonathan was definitely one of the most patient guys in the world.

3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐🎧

This was almost a 2-star, but the ending saved it. I feel like maybe I outgrew this author. And that's ok. It just felt so juvenile.

A six-year age gap really had these people fighting for their lives, lol. She was soo up in arms he wouldn't want what she wanted. He couldn't grasp the concept of settling down and wanting a family. I don't know, but maybe just maybe. Trust the one you're with. He said to your face he wanted a family. I don't know, but if a guy is telling you YOU ARE EXACTLY what he wants and his actions are showing you the same thing... BELIEVE HIM....

Then she does. So she stops pushing him away.... ONLY to have an accident, only to PUSH HIM AWAY AGAIN.... I wanted to shake this chick!!

I won't spoil the ending, but thank god for small mercies because it's really the only good thing about this book and each other's families because they were fun to read.

Not bad

This one wasn't my favorite in the series but not bad. Wasn't impressed with either of the narrators and have to wonder why neither of them were consistent with the pronunciation of the heroine's name - I seem to remember that early on in the series, it was said that the Parker parents wanted a boy first and Waylon Jennings was Papa Parker's fav singer so they named their first child Waylon. Did I dream that? Sometimes it was pronounced Way-Lynn and since this is an audiobook with the introduction sans the female heroine's name, I don't know how the author spelled it. Editors should have caught that. Anyway, as in other books in this series, there's a strange combination of cheesy innocence and foul-mouthed sexiness. Usually, books are either one or the other. But this is fun, easy, no angst, sweet series that would have been much better with a few tweaks and better narrators---they were okay but didn't really enhance the series.

UGH!!!!

This was the WORST level of story telling!!! Both characters were so badly portrayed..... Not to mention the demeanor of her personality totally changed through the story line... And how can some Big construction worker sound like such a wimp.... I hate that I wasted my time on this book. I almost finished it but like I said the narration was the worst..
