Just what i needed

after a slew of reading books with unlikebke characters i finall6 found a book that was great. This was just what in needed. i was nervous that this book was just abother one where characters are like "I'm not going to commit" and getting them together was like pulling rotten teeth, but it wasnt like that at all. I "LOL'd" multiple times. The h was amazing, the H was amazing. The performance of the voice actors were great, just what i pictured the characters to be like. I'm very impressed with this book.

The Narrator totally ruined this story!

What did you like best about Love Thy Neighbor? What did you like least?

The story line was great ..... not realistic in the long run .. kind of rushed toward the end I thought .... but it was a fun listen overall. Ms. Gwyn was too carefree with her narration... he continued upbeat performance when the character was thinking to herself almost drove me crazy. If it had be performed in the right manner I think the little comments would of been funny.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

It ended as it should with a HEA.

Would you be willing to try another one of Eleanor Gwyn and Douglas Berger ’s performances?

I will very definitely hesitate and LISTEN before buying anything that Ms. Gwyn narrates.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

A different female narrator.

Any additional comments?

I am sure that Ms. Gwyn is a talented performer, however this book was not one she should count as a success in her career.

Better than the first

Love thy neighbor is the second book in the friend zone series but could be read as a stand-alone. Honestly, I wish I would have skipped the first book and went straight into this one. Ghost\Asher and Nat were more interesting to me than the previous couple. The dialogue was better but still hilarious. There is a fair amount of angst and sexual tension. I fell in love Asher; it was nice seeing his character come out of his shell, even though he screws up. The only thing that bothered me was the ending. It felt a bit rushed and not thought out.

Douglas Berger was great. Eleanor Gwyn was.... more tolerable than before but I'm still not a fan. I kind of wished they would have gotten another female narrator.
