Adam James Jones was born in Denver and raised in South Park, Colorado. He received a BA from the University of Northern Colorado and an MA from Western New Mexico University. He is the author of the novels The Vendetta of Felipe Espinosa (2014 Gale-Cengage) and Prisoner’s Cinema (2021 Black Rose Writing). His short fiction and essays have appeared in numerous publications, including Wild West, Darker Times, and Backpacker Magazine. As a screenwriter his credits include the horror shorts Hatchlings and The Lead. Adam lives in New Mexico with his wife, the actress Catharine E. Jones.
