AGUSTÍN TOMÉ GANGAS was born on March 7, 1973 in the city of León (Spain). Based in Venta de Baños (Palencia), he has a degree in Geography and History from the University of Valladolid and has also completed Third Cycle (Doctorate) studies at the aforementioned University. He currently works as a Secondary Education teacher, accumulating 22 years of experience in the education sector. He was passionate about reading and writing from a very young age and, of course, about History; His first published book was "Una vez existió", in which he critiques the depopulation of rural areas. His next publication, "The Present Story 1", is the first installment of a collection in which he intends to unravel the lesser-known aspects of great historical events. This book has been included in the catalog of the digital school library LeoCyL, developed by the Ministry of Education of the Junta de Castilla y León. Currently, the author is immersed in various literary projects, among which is the preparation of the second volume of "The History of Today." AGUSTÍN TOMÉ GANGAS nació el 7 de marzo de 1973 en la ciudad de León (España). Afincado en Venta de Baños (Palencia), es Licenciado en Geografía e Historia por la Universidad de Valladolid y ha completado, asimismo, los estudios de Tercer Ciclo (Doctorado) en la citada Universidad. En la actualidad trabaja como profesor de Enseñanza Secundaria, atesorando una experiencia de 22 años en el sector educativo. Apasionado de la lectura y la escritura desde muy joven y, por supuesto, de la Historia; su primer libro publicado fue “Una vez existió”, en el que realiza una crítica sobre la despoblación de las zonas rurales. Su siguiente publicación, “La Historia de actualidad 1”, es la primera entrega de una colección en la que pretende desentramar los aspectos menos conocidos sobre los grandes acontecimientos históricos. Este libro ha sido incluido en en el catálogo de la biblioteca escolar digital LeoCyL, desarrollada por la Consejería de Educación de la Junta de Castilla y León. Actualmente, el autor está inmerso en varios proyectos literarios, entre los que se encuentra la confección del segundo volumen de “La Historia de actualidad".
