Amere Dozier is a young author who was born in South Bend, Indiana on December 8, 1998. He is the son of Siglenda Dozier and Salahuddin Shabazz. After graduating from Clay high school in 2017 he attended a semester of college in Iowa where he began writing his first book, Home Bound. Dozier transferred to a university in Indiana and released his first book in February of 2018. He claims to write with the purpose of "sharing the view of the urban community" and "inspiring the urban community to read more". In May 2018 Amere released his second book, "Bandit Boyz". He plans on continuing his journey as an author as he plans for his future books, Home Bound 2: The Revelation, Dirty Work, and more.
