I am the creator, writer and publisher of three Chocolate Monkey Mind & Me novels, Monkey Mind Love Games - poetry collection and Chocolate Monkey Mind & Flash Fiction on youtube. After a rollercoaster of the past, I became educated and graduated as a mature student aged 52 with a Creative writing degree. My intention is for readers to read mature reality fiction on their journey to take control of what should be their fun mischievous adventurous monkey minds, but in fact is a controlling, negative, accusative, derogatory internal commentary. I use the metaphor Chocolate Monkey Mind as the addictive, controlling, hate-filled, slanderous voice, we all try to deny of its existence, but it is real, and in all of us. Once we consciously become conscious of its undeserving presence and voice, the truth will set us free from our own uncomfortable skin imprisonment. The truth is that we are all beautiful people, who have had pasts we might not have chosen, but today we are seen, heard and can value ourselves. My protagonist have also had rollercoaster histories and have adventurous tales to tell. Samantha was a child prostitue, Jasmine has always lived with a pure monk mind, however her Chocolate Monkey Mind is sparked. Sasha was a child sex abuse victim and aims to become a Victor. They are highly emotive stories with some dark imagery, mixed in with comedy and hope.
