Beth Syverson is an adoptive mom of a young adult son Joey. The two of them started Unraveling Adoption Podcast in 2021 to help other families with kids struggling with mental health, addiction, and adoption trauma. They recently published the first book in the Unraveling Adoption Book Series: Adoptees and Suicidality. Beth believes in de-stigmatizing mental illness and getting tough topics like suicidality out in the open. As a Certified Coach, she helps seekers find their own healing path. Beth lives in the Los Angeles area with her wife Jan, 3 horses, and 2 German shepherds. When she's not writing, podcasting, or coaching about adoption, she's making music as a collaborative pianist and music teacher.
