Earlier in her career, she taught English and English literature for over a decade, after achieving her degree in English and Creative Writing. Before that, she worked at the Grimsby Evening Telegraph, first in classified ads then in newspaper layout planning. She has always worked with words and/or publications! Now, Claire is living her dream as a published author of psychological thrillers with Bloodhound Books. She lives in Hull, East Yorkshire, with her husband, dog and cat. She is happiest when she is absorbed in a twisty crime fiction novel, either at home with her adorable animals by her side or on a plane to somewhere exotic!
