Carissa Campbell is a pastor, writer, speaker, and teacher. She has worked in both public and private education for thirteen years, teaching high school English and writing curriculum in world literature and American literature. She holds a master’s in Education and is a licensed pastor. Together with her husband, she pastors South Valley Church on the central coast of California. She develops content and curriculum for the church, focusing on leadership and life groups. She is part of the Sunday preaching team and also teaches in Life Groups and in women’s ministry. Recently, Carissa stepped into writing as a full-time endeavor and looks forward to cultivating content for a wider audience. God’s Big Ask is her first book and is available as an eBook, paperback, and hardback. She shares her own raw and real experiences through her blogs at carissawrites.com/blog, written bi-weekly. Carissa enjoys all forms of coffee, writing and reciting spoken word or poetry, making lists and checking them off, hand-writing in journals with colorful felt pens, and participating in the craziness of motherhood and ministry.
