Chesma Comer McCoy, the youngest of three daughters, was born in Austin, TX on September 11, 1981. In 1984 she was placed in the foster care system and was raised in Bartlett, TX with a host of family! She is a firm believer of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was saved at the age of 14 years old. She is married to Leonard McCoy of 16 years, (January 24, 2004) and a mother of two children. She has gone through a host of events that could have taken her out including depression, miscarriage, loss of job, and divorce as a result of grief from the miscarriage BUT by the Grace of God, they reunited in March 2014. She is a Christian LIFE Coach certification and founded Pastors’ Closet, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in November 2018 as an extension of her services, which include prayer, daily devotions, wellness conferences, spiritual retreats, coaching, outreach, support services to all Christian leaders in need all a part of faith-based and biblical principles. She expresses her love and compassion to each pastor for the love and dedication they all bring to the church and community. Her purpose and passion for pursuing this mission is dedicated to the pastors who lost their lives to suicide and depression. She pays homage and tribute by serving in love and humility. She is dedicated to this purpose and strives each new day as God gives her strength. Her favorite scripture is Psalms 121 and her favorite hymn is “I Love to Praise Him” Donnie McClurkin’s version.
