Chi Su is an imaginative children's book writer from Taiwan who lives in San Francisco. With a background in information management and a master's degree in web design and new media from the Academy of Art University, Chi blends technical expertise with creative storytelling. Her journey into children's literature began by telling bedtime stories to her son, Ethan, who is of mixed Taiwanese and Latino heritage. These stories, filled with love, wisdom and designed to inspire Ethan become confident, brave, and kind, inspired her first book, "The Colorful Adventures of Three Little Chicks." Chi’s work celebrates the power of uniqueness, kindness, and diversity. Through her writing, she teaches valuable lessons about self-acceptance and courage. In addition to books, Chi volunteers at the Association of Tao Development, designing materials and cultivating positive energy through Mandarin poetry recitations and storytelling for kids. On weekends, she also helps run adult classes focused on positive thinking and the power of conscience. Chi's book demonstrates her belief that every child is special and that their differences are their superpowers.
