Chuck Hartman, whose grandmother claimed could sing before he could talk, began performing music publicly at age four. Chuck also began storytelling and illustrating his stories years before he learned to write. Throughout his youth, Chuck was comfortably at home on stage working with several theater companies. Throughout his teens and twenties, Chuck had many opportunities to tour both locally, and abroad with various music groups. As a young man, Chuck worked as a graphic artist creating content for Coke-A-Cola Japan, AMF, and Brunswick Bowling. Chuck has also owned and operated a recording studio and worked as a writer, musician, photographer, illustrator, and puppeteer. Chuck holds degrees in art (graduating with honors) and theology (graduating summa cum laude), is a member of Alpha Chi National College Honor Society, and is currently working toward his Master's in child psychology. Chuck is especially proud of his academic accomplishments because he is dyslexic. Chuck strongly believes that every child and adult can accomplish every worthwhile task with hard work and determination. Chuck enjoys volunteering. Chuck volunteers time in the local school system, serves on the Ministers' Council for Education, is President of The Perquimans Chapter Mobile Food Pantry, and in June 2017 took part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids’ cancer. Chuck lives with his wife Sonya, and their dog, Sarah, in Perquimans County, North Carolina. Chuck is currently working on new projects for children, check in often to see what is new. http://www.jango.com/stations/319894378/tunein
