Chuck Sawicki had a 46- year career in sales, marketing, & general management. He received a BA in Economics from Notre Dame & an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He served as a US Army officer through ROTC as a Distinguished Military Graduate. While with five organization, he was president of three companies in business information, merger & acquisition information & wholesale investment products & services. He retired from Dun & Bradstreet and Smith Barney where he served for over 20 years with each company. Before moving to Lancaster, Pa. in 2014 from Charlotte, NC, he served over 7 years as a Volunteer Certified SCORE Small Business Owner Mentor. For the past 5 years he has continued in Lancaster, Pa. as a volunteer Certified SCORE Mentor. He won each SCORE Chapter’s Outstanding mentor award. He has been a Rotarian for over 54 years and has been a volunteer Ambassador for Road Scholar, the largest non-profit educational travel company, for over 10 years. In Oct 2019 he moved to La Posada in Palm Beach Garden, Fl. 33410. Chuck has traveled to over 100 countries and all 50 states. He won the American Fund Raising Professionals (AFP) Outstanding Volunteer Fund Raiser Award in 2005 for 4 counties in Florida while serving on non-profit boards, donor development committees & helping raise 40% of a United Way annual budget as Tocqueville Chair for the $10,000 plus donors. He was married to his wife Priscilla Smith for 54 years before she died from a long cancer battle in 2016. They had 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
