Darby Briar is the author of Burning Ember and A Christmas with Chaos. Burning Ember was her debut novel and reach Amazon's top 100 in both Amazon Book & Amazon Kindle in the Romantic Suspense category. Burning Ember also won Book of the Year at the Utah Romance Writers Reader's Luncheon Event in 2015. Darby took a few years off of writing to raise her kids but is back to writing her third novel which she plans to release in 2024. Darby credits her grandma as a big influence in her love of romance. She grew up sitting next to her as she watched her soap operas, and she often had a scandelicous book sitting out in the open on her coffee table. Now Darby write's stories that's she sure would make even her grandma blush. Darby Briar is American author who loves writing stories about men with broken souls and women who don’t know their own strength. She’s a lover of fiction whether it be a movie or book, but prefers stories with some romance, and ones that include a happy ending. She grew up in Utah and still lives in the northern part of the state. She’s married and her and her husband have three adorable kids, who they refer to as their minions.
