Long ago, in the small 3rd world country of Bangladesh, there lived a little girl who loved books. She cherished the feeling of being spirited away into the embrace of fables. However, as she grew old, she noticed the absence of people like her from books. Everything was about white people only. There was no space for anyone else. It seemed too unfair to have books represent one race only. So, after coming to U.S.A. and finishing her studies, she started to write about experiences of the downtrodden. My name is Diana, and I am that girl. I am an indie author who wants her stories to be playgrounds for the marginalized. I weave sagas (mostly fantasy) that are honest, relevant, and entertaining. In my works, I also talk about how racism, politics and economic hardships negatively impact disadvantaged groups. For I want to serve God and the world at large by creating narratives with diverse voices that help build a more inclusive and tolerant society.
