Dominique was born and raised in the city of Detroit, where she attended and graduated from Southeastern school of technology. She discovered her love for writing at the early age of thirteen, when her writing assignment was chosen to be published by the Detroit Institute of Arts, titled, I Hear Their Voices. She went on to be a nurse, and later rediscovered her love for writing,while attempting to heal from her past. You Say Killer,I Say Daddy was published October 16, 2020. Dominique has since started a nonprofit Break our chains, to support children with incarcerated parent. In honor of her father being incarcerated for twenty years, she will provide twenty children with transportation with every twenty books sold.
