Hi. I am Dwight Thompson AKA TheWriteWarrior from South Florida. My latest book DWIGHT THOMPSON'S WORK BOOK & VISION JOURNAL, a peotry igniter and habit guide for aspiring writers. It is a companion book to INNER SANCTUM: Protecting my Peace through Poetry and a must have to your indie-author collection. I am a young Euro-Caribbean American author who has a background in journalism, communication, mass media, customer service and local government. Born in St. Kitts and raised on St. Maarten, I have lived in South Florida since the turn of the millennium. College, marriage, two teenage daughters, 10+ full-time jobs and 20 years later, Pinecones & Spaceships is a book series about a family's journey through homelessness and hopelessness, positivity and faith and is told through various viewpoints, experiences and art styles. PIVOT, being the first volume of Pinecones & Spaceships, consists of the first five books of the series and it's a volume of poetry, short stories and essays. I wrote it about the past two years of my life living homeless in America and my faith, mental and financial journey to being a better me.
