I have 30 years of hands-on experience helping organizations of all sizes and industries develop strategic leaders who think and execute effectively to drive performance. Over my career, I’ve worked with a variety of organizations in both the private and public sectors. I held posts in a variety of professional services firms including Duke Corporate Education, Balanced Scorecard Collaborative/Palladium, PwC and Deloitte. I began my career as a logistics officer in the Marine Corps; I retired in 2007 as a Lieutenant Colonel after 21 years of service. I’m an instructor for Harvard University where I teach Negotiation & Organizational Conflict Resolution, Influence & Power, Organizational Behavior and Strategic Management. Before Harvard, I served on the faculties of Boston and Babson College. I earned a BS from Boston University, a MBA from Georgetown, and a DBA from Cranfield School of Management. I also have a coaching certificate from Fielding Graduate University and am ICF Certified. I live on the South Shore of Massachusetts but spend time on Cape Cod and in Vermont. I’m married and have six kids—four organically and two by acquisition. And two cats—one small and one very large.”
