Throughout the middle east, Ema Shah is beloved as a musician, singer, composer, dancer, guitarist, writer, puppeteer, filmmaker, and thespian. Born in Kuwait to a Kuwaiti father and Iranian mother. Her at art possesses an authentic Middle Eastern flavor, which draws on her diverse ethnic background: Arab, Iranian, Afghan, and British Asian. Her musical works focus on both classical and pop. In theater, her themes are: musicals, absurdity, surrealism, Dadaism, and fantasy. in 1996 she gained recognition at the feast of the minister in Al-Ahmadi region, playing on live TV classical piano sonatas. She played “Rhinoceros”, by Eugene Ionesco, where she was a crazy absurdist.
