Ethan Paull was born and raised in Northern Nevada. As a youth, when not hiking and exploring the ranges of the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, he would study famous battles and then recreate them with his toy soldiers. His longstanding passion and respect for history led to his early realization he wanted a career in some aspect involving of history; a work in progress. In 2015 he married his High School sweetheart and moved to the mountain community of Oakhurst, California. While he's balancing school, work and marriage, he plays out scenes from his stories and keeps working on developing his style and characters. As a co-founder of Pine Valley Publishing, he began publishing his works in 2018. His first focus has been World War II, his favorite historical time period and the backdrop for the entire "Valor By Dawn" series. The series has 20 titles planned, with four of the first five titles revised in April of 2020 based on reviews and feedback from readers like you. Ethan is currently working on books 6 through 10 of the Valor By Dawn series, with books focusing on the Battle of Tarawa, the Siege of Rabaul, the struggle for Monte Cassino, the break out at Anzio, and finally the Airborne Assault of Normandy. These books will focus on the same characters within the first five novels and also introduce a few new ones. Ethan hopes to have the next five out by Christmas 2020.
