Ed Kightlinger writes novels and short stories using his pen name Eva Roblins. He also uses his own name depending on the book's theme. The reason Ed writes under his pen name is to pay tribute to a blind teenager that roller skated with her brother at a Tennessee roller rink. The blind girl's first name was Eva. As her brother held her hand while she skated, Eva demonstrated amazing courage and unwavering fearlessness. Even though she was hesitant rolling on her eight wheels, she had a grand time as attested to by her giggles and infectious smiles. Eva's self-confidence was a miracle to behold! Eva's astonishing display of boldness and love of life, despite her blindness, moved Ed to create an author's pen name that would live on through his writings. Hence, Eva Roblins the pseudonym author came to be. A simple yet humble tribute for a blind girl who does not allow her disability to affect her life negatively. Ed lives in Lynnville, Tennessee, with his trusted, four-legged pal, Cassandra.
