Trained as a criminologist, Fred worked in the Belgian public administration in a prevention department (prophylaxis), as a coordinator and then head of office for 5 years, before leaving this well-warned path... but focused on the bad trends of the individual. He models and adapts his reading grids and patterns as a behavioral specialist to apply them to the other end of the spectrum. Rather than analyzing and understanding deviance and delinquency, he focuses on what he calls behavioral patterns of success: ✅ How can we turn Setbacks into Personal Climax? (Failure and Resilience) ✅ How can we turn Obstacles into Miracles? (Innovation and Differentiation) ✅ How can we turn Talents into Diamonds? (Leadership and Personal Branding) Without knowing what entrepreneurship meant at the time, he started several companies and initiatives. Since 2005, he has been advising companies and mentoring decision-makers in the strategic exploitation of their DNA (Differentiating Natural Asset): Where You Have Maximum Impact With Minimum Obstacles. In 2018, he creates the publishing house “L'attitude des Héros” to promote inspiring personalities and support authors from the idea to the widespread broadcast. In 2020, he founded ReLOAD Belgium, a non-profit initiative to help bankrupt entrepreneurs bounce back and start afresh, thanks to a solidarity network and volunteer support. The association was handed over to ReVival Belgium at the end of 2022. Fred has published 10 books in 12 years, including 4 bestsellers, 3 of which have been published in both Europe and Quebec. As a professional speaker, Fred has delivered over 1000 conferences in 16 countries on 4 continents, reaching tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of people in French and English. A music fan 🎶 and guitarist 🎸, Fred loves to read 📚. When he can, he runs a bit 🏃🏻‍♂️ (2 half-marathons and a marathon on the clock but no, he hasn't fallen in love with “running” to which he much prefers gastronomy 🫣). Fred travels the world to inspire everyone he meets to redefine their possibilities and assume their ambitions, freeing them from their own barriers and accepting their responsibilities and freedom, to succeed at work and beyond.
