I’ve always found pondering and writing about philosophical, psychological, and Zen Buddhist topics to be meaningful. I’m a lazy Zen Buddhist aspiring to be present for my life in a heartfelt way, to be authentic by honoring what’s real and true for me while holding space for others, and to move through the world with compassion and non-aggression. To heal society, we must first heal ourselves, to learn how to own and hold our pain and discomfort. To be human is to experience powerlessness, uncertainty, and impermanence. Before we’re wounded by pain, fear, and loss inherent in those experiences, the true nature of being human, is one of goodness and loving kindness. Compassion and awareness open the door to finding relief from suffering, discovering what’s meaningful, and transcending into wisdom. Courageously healing our own suffering can change the world.
