Hyapatia Lee is the founder of Native Strength, an alternative approach to the contemporary mental health care system based on ancient wisdom. This path to happiness and personal evolvement is based on a centuries-old, inter-tribal system given to us by the Star People. Information is shared with the help of medicine wheels which are much like the circles that the aliens in the movie ARRIVAL used to communicate with humans. Hyapatia began her research with medicine men and women across North America in the mid-1980's and expanded it to include Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii. She incorporated what she had learned to help the people of The Lost River Band of the Cherokees in Mitchell, Indiana as their Blessed Woman for several years. Hyapatia currently writes a weekly advice column for HIGH TIMES online and contributes to Omni, Longevity, Swamp and Potent. Hyapatia's autobiography "THE SECRET LIVES OF HYAPATIA LEE" was published in 2000 and she began work on the Native Strength series in 2016, which currently includes the books "NATIVE STRENGTH - THE FIRST STEP ON THE PATH TO AN INDOMITABLE LIFE," "STORIES AROUND THE WHEEL OF LIFE," "STAR PEOPLE, SKINWALKERS AND RAVEN MOCKERS," THE CIRCLES OF LIFE" and "OVERCOMING BULLIES." Hyapatia is also a critically acclaimed actress and has appeared in many movies including Hellroller, Dr. Boris and Nurse Shirley with Paul Bartel and Killing Obsession starring Jon Savage from The Deer Hunter and The Godfather. Hyapatia also has released two albums of music. Her first, "The Two Sides of Hyapatia Lee" on SRO Records is half country and half comedy. One song from the album, "Rub-A-Dub-Dub", made it to number three on the Dr. Demento show's Funny Five list. Her second album "Double Euphoric" features her original rock and roll songs performed by her band by the same name. Double Euphoric toured and opened for acts like the Scorpions and Paul Rogers.
