Dillard known as “JD” in the industry, started cutting his own hair at the age of 10 after getting haircuts from his mother. After trials and tribulations JD started to professionally cut hair in 1999 and became a shop owner while attending college at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama shortly after that. JD is an award winning & best selling publish author “JD the Kid Barber” series under serendipity literary agency an imprint of Kokila and Penguin Random House. JD coin the term “barberprenuer’ which spins from his life of being a barber and an entrepreneur. He is former shop owner and Managing Partner of ConAllegiance, which was a consulting firm based out of Atlanta, GA. JD is a master barber, a certified consultant and industry leader with fresh edge cutting ideas that will continue to help the fast growing barbering industry. As an industry innovator J.Dillard’s mission is to help a wide range of barbers and consultants in manufacturing, branding, rebranding, sponsorship decks, social media and business services that are slowly evolving or rapidly changing our environment.
