Jaclyn (Jackie) London is a Registered Dietitian (RD), New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN), and Head of Nutrition & Wellness for WW (formerly, Weight Watchers). At WW, she is responsible for championing nutrition science through communication-- across programs, content platforms, strategic partnerships and experiences, and serves as the brand’s external nutrition and health spokesperson, translating scientific data into lifestyle-based application that’s accessible to all. As Good Housekeeping’s nutrition director, she was responsible for the creation, execution, and oversight of all of the magazine’s nutrition-related content across media platforms, including diet and meal planning content; nutrition and health news; product reviews, and Good Housekeeping Seal applications in the food space. In 2016, she championed the launch and strategic development of the Good Housekeeping Food and Nutrition Brand Lab and Good Housekeeping Nutritionist Approved Emblem and incubator program. As a media spokesperson, Jackie appears regularly on national TV segments on nutrition and health, including TODAY, Good Morning America, The Rachael Ray Show, The Dr. Oz Show, Inside Edition, and CBSN. Jackie received her Bachelor’s degree in European History and Dance from Northwestern University; earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University, and served as adjunct professor in undergraduate nutritional biochemistry at Touro College (NYSCAS). Prior to her role at Good Housekeeping, Jackie served as senior clinical dietitian at The Mount Sinai Hospital, specializing in nutritional interventions for brain injury and neurological disorders. During her stint in the clinical setting, she acted as media spokesperson for the Department of Clinical Nutrition and was responsible for the development and implementation of the hospital’s employee weight loss program; diagnostic criteria for malnutrition, and collaborated with researchers on a developing clinical trial examining the effects of diet on the gut microbiome of Multiple Sclerosis patients. Additionally, Jackie counseled clients in nutrition therapy for athletes, general weight-loss and weight-management, diabetes, kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, and much more at the nutrition private practice, Nutrition Energy, here in midtown Manhattan. Since transitioning to magazine journalism in 2014, Jackie has focused on translating clinical and epidemiological research findings into digestible information and real-life strategies for Good Housekeeping. Her first book, “Dressing on the Side (and Other Diet Myths Debunked): 11 Science-Based Ways to Eat More, Stress Less, and Feel Great About Your Body,” was released in January, 2019.
