Jacquii Leveine was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, to immigrant Trinidadian parents. Her professional profile encompasses seventeen years within the New York City Department of Education as a teacher, staff developer, senior director, and deputy executive director. She also worked as a graduate-level professor of Instructional Technology for Touro College. In 2018, she left the Department of Education to pursue her dream as a writer, Jazz songstress, and numerologist. She is now living in Brooklyn where she teaches numerology through her podcast, Empress High Council, and her debut memoir, Knocking from the Inside. Who knows? You may see her on stage in a sultry Jazz club on one sleepless night in New York City when all resumes with the world.
