Widely respected as a leading entrepreneur and investor, Janet launched 85 Broads in 1997, a global network of women whose founding members worked at Goldman Sachs' NYC headquarters. At its peak, over 30,000 trailblazing women joined the network worldwide. Upon graduation from Columbia Business School, Janet joined Goldman Sachs' Fixed Income Division. In 1986, she became the first woman in the firm's history to be promoted to sales management. In 1995, Janet founded Milestone Capital, which grew to 3B in AUM. In 2004, Janet joined Lehman Brothers as an MD & Senior Advisor on Women. In that role, she met thousands of female undergraduate & graduate school students in the US and abroad who wanted to pursue careers on Wall Street. Janet's daughter Meredith is a successful artist & designer and her son Chris, a former US National Champion squash player, is the co-founder of RIA Eyewear. Janet has served on numerous boards and holds an honorary degree from Middlebury College.
