A native of Annapolis, Maryland, Jay Branham is a multi-instrumental musician, song writer, and indie recording artist. He now resides in Martinsburg, West Virginia where he serves as a Contemporary Praise and Worship musician, lay leader, and council member. An avid fan of old-time radio shows, (comedy, drama, and mystery), as well as being a real-time student of what is now called, Classic Rock and Motown, (plus early Contemporary Christian Music), Branham has enjoyed the privilege of being in opening bands for The Cherry People, The Ramones, The Runaways, Ruth Copeland, and the Canadian band, 'W.O.W'. His eclectic musical endeavors have landed him as a backup musician for Edith Massey, (A.K.A., Edie the Egg Lady), as well as sitting in live with The Lanny Wolfe Trio, and Lance Appleton. Composite decades of directional interests and life experience have come together to create the book, "Angel of the Band", a lightly Spiritual, romantic 3-part dramedy, as well as, "The Dahlia Chronicles", (the 1rst follow-up to Angel of the Band), due out in mid to late 2019.
