Jermaine Maynard-Roberts is a playful educationist hailing from Walsall, England, and the brain behind the music character Avatar Avastarr – Life Skills Coach and children’s entertainer at Moonstaar’s Mentor Mansion. With several years of experience, working with young people between the ages of 7–24 years old, the prodigy has served at a number of youth and children’s centres, including; Concorde Youth Centre, Positive Experience Ltd, Beirton Youth Centre, Gallery 37, and Springfield Project. His ambition is to create a brand driven by children’s playful songs, stories and parties. Every moment with Avastarr is like sitting with your friends having a long wandering chat or playing hide-and-seek in a meadow of long grass. Avatar Avastarr is a musical figure inspired by Jermaine Maynard-Roberts’ desire to create something relatable to children between the ages of 7–10. His energetic and playful persona has birthed numerous child friendly songs that are intended to make children laugh, feel happy, be young, play with friends, encourage confidence, and/or respect differences. With the aim of administering child-like knowledge and life skills through children’s music and free play activities, Avastarr has created a rich discography consisting of tracks that are both charming and engaging. His latest project dubbed “Playtime On The Dark Star [Book One Songs]” is one of his best creations, fusing sounds from Rap and Pop music in a five-track child friendly album. Done with Baby Shark thoughts, but not ready for baby-making talk. His play-related words flow like a waterfall of child-like truth. Rich in colours that only the innocent eye can see. Pure in nature that only the untainted spirit can feel.
