Jim Wygant has been editor of a small weekly newspaper, a police reporter for a large daily, an investigator in a District Attorney’s office and an Attorney General’s office, a licensed polygraph examiner, a web site designer, an instructor and lecturer to other polygraph examiners, publisher of a newsletter for polygraph examiners, and a teacher of computer skills to senior citizens. His writing has focused on crime stories. His work for defense attorneys resulted in thousands of interviews with people accused of crimes, with many of those interviews occurring in jails or penitentiaries. He and wife Sandy live in Oregon and have traveled the world. They have visited the U.K., France, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Cook Islands, China, Russia, and Poland, as well as many cities in the U.S. Jim has been writing since he figured out how to pick up a pen.
