Jodi Boyer is the author of Emmie and the Accidental Unicorn. In 2019, Ms. Boyer was honored to spend a winter writing at La Muse, a residency for writers and authors in Southern France. It was at this residency that she dreamt up the story for BOY IN TIGHTS, her upcoming title. An advocate for children’s literacy, Ms. Boyer volunteers as a Co-Chair for Texas Book Festival and as an editor for Austin Bat Cave, which provides children and teenagers with opportunities to develop their writing skills. She lives in Austin, TX with her husband, son, and dog. Jodi Boyer is a member of SCBWI and IBPA.
