Back in the 1900’s, Jon Coley was born. In the early 2000’s, he began writing stories for kids. Fast forward to the present, he is still writing. Being a Science Fiction and Fantasy fan, he naturally liked writing fiction with a hint of the supernatural. Usually the stories are kid friendly, but the scary creatures find their way into the plot. Somewhere along the way, he got it into his head that some people may give the south side of a northbound rat about what he thinks, Ergo he began writing nonfiction too. This work focuses mostly on educational psychology (zzz). In the mean time, he has kept busy teaching. His favorite grade levels are 3rd, 4th, and 5th. In fact, he has been known to say that kindergarteners are like zombies, only grosser. That having been said, he has worked with kids of all ages, and they have all inspired his work at some level. Jon has also developed a love for two extracurricular activities - woodworking and Alabama football. The former was an inspiration that has made its way into his book, ‘The Curse of Mr.M’s Castle.’ The latter has earned him much haughty derision from his students and colleagues alike, since he lives and works in Georgia. He is also a devoted husband and a loving father to not one, not two, but three daughters! Being so outnumbered, he’s been known to be very glad that his beloved dog is a boy. He likes to walk his pet husky, named Phoenix, several times a week when possible. It helps him to think of new plots and possibilities for his characters. By the way, this is actually an autobiography. So I’m going to sign off now because I hate referring to myself in the third person.
